We have recently launched our new Site Supervisor Programme; it marks a significant investment in the professional development of our site teams.
This training aims to create a consistent, competent, and effective supervisory team by addressing gaps in formal training in leadership and management.
Supported by funding from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), the programme addresses the need for formal training among site supervisors. Who often advance to their roles without a comprehensive understanding of their responsibilities.
This programme aims to standardise and elevate supervisory skills. Moving from traditional on-the-job learning to structured training, and enhancing overall site safety and people management.
The training programme targets 90 supervisors across the business, delivered in three-day blocks with one cohort each month, each consisting of approximately ten participants.
Developed in collaboration with PGL Midlands, the curriculum incorporates feedback from all areas and levels in the business from operational leads, lead supervisors, to directors, and HSE competency assessments.
The training is designed to be practical and interactive, focusing on real-life experiences and scenario-based learning to foster deeper understanding among participants.
