We’re excited to share an update on the second cohort of our Leadership Development Programme, launched earlier this year in partnership with Optima Training.
Now a few months in, the programme is going from strength to strength. Participants have been actively engaging in a dynamic blend of workshops, online mentoring, 1-1 coaching, and action learning sets designed to build real-world leadership capabilities.
In a recent session, colleagues took part in their first action learning set: a structured group discussion that encourages collaborative problem-solving and leadership development. This format is helping participants strengthen key skills such as active listening, insightful questioning, and effective communication, while also fostering greater trust and connection within the group.
The 18-month programme continues to focus on equipping Van Elle employees with the practical tools and confidence needed to thrive in leadership roles, particularly within the unique context of the construction sector. Topics covered so far include adaptable leadership styles, feedback techniques, and situational decision-making.
We’re proud of the progress made so far and look forward to supporting the cohort as they continue their leadership journey.
